If your keyboard stops working after installing EndpointLock it is likely that an Antivirus product on your computer has interfered with the secure keyboard driver that we provide.
To resolve this issue please follow these guidelines:
- Add an exception to your Antivirus software to allow EndpointLock to run uninhibited. Some guides for common AV products:
- Run the EndpointLock installer a second time, then reboot.
EndpointLock and your keyboard should now be working normally.
** In case you are still having issues, you may need to also perform the additional steps below to properly restore files the antivirus broke. These steps may seem repetitive but are necessary if your keyboard still is not functioning.
- Uninstall EndpointLock, reboot again.
- Install EndpointLock again, reboot again.
At this point EndpointLock should be added as an exception in your antivirus and EndpointLock will have been completely removed and freshly installed which should resolve any conflicts with AV software. If you are still having issues please contact support.
